get new jars and learn how to package them

Every jar leaked. I had to throw out three jars that smelled bad. the two that didn't smell bad were good tasting. But will never buy again unless it's in a store and no shipping involved.

Hi Bill! Thanks for your comment. We mention shipping cautions of leaking on our website and understand it can arrive feeling like a crime scene. I've sought the most leak proof jars and the plastisol liner lids that we pay $$$ big money for, work best when you heat seal and/or pastuerize the product. I refuse to do that because my intent is to sell a thriving and jiving living food. It's a messy business! Trust me! Not for the faint of heart and you may have heard Sandor Katz suggest, the delicious spot of fermented food is between fresh and rotten. That's where the action happens and it's proof when it arrives a mess that it sometimes does. That's why we put it in a plastic bag to catch the crime. And the smell.......well I mean, do you know what fermented cabbage smells like? I think now you do.....what can I say? I wouldn't have done my job right if it didn't have that punget scent that fermented, probiotic rich veggies smell like, and I be you got one with garlic! Your neighbors should be asking you what you are eating!! I'm sorry you threw out our product. It was made to be a genuine gift for the gut. It is alive and I hope that you may try fermented foods another time with a new understanding of what's all happening in that jar.

I only like ro receive exactly what I order as I enjoy the products as long as whoever I sending them, know what they were doing. So far, I keep getting the wrong number of products. You really must do a much better job!! [****]
